Biography - Iain Willis (Will)
Iain Willis (Will) a nuclear rock-studying man from Middlesbrough, now plying his trade in Scotchland makes up half of the musically creative section of the reckless general. After 18 months in Japan, writing and performing in Tokyo and Sapporo, followed up by the biggest gig of his career...the legendary performance at his brother's wedding in Yarm, Will is now contributing to 2 projects, the reckless general and orlo tonne.
With inspiration ranging from prostitution (not from first-hand experience) to being poorer than a tramp's dog, Will has both collaborated with Crum, but also contributed individual material to the cause, making him an essential part of the reckless genereal project.
His main focus, however, is with orlo tonne, currently a two piece inspired by bands such as the Doves and Nick Drake but with a more experimental edge, and no mention of pladgiclaeic feltspar anywhere!
